Organization is Essential to Minimize Your Costs
I am able to keep my
fees low by requiring clients to organize their tax
information. For personal returns other than a very simple return, a
tax organizer must be completed. I charge $50 per hour extra
for bookkeeping fees for clients that do not want to do their own
bookkeeping. This applies to a sole proprietor, partnership or
corporate return and we recommend that you use Quickbooks if you choose to do your own
bookkeeping. For a self employed business without many expenses
you can simply complete the section of our tax organizer titled "Sole
Proprietor Worksheet".
For those people with large numbers of
stock
market transactions,
I need proper matching of the sale and purchase sides of each
transaction. Contact your stockbroker about providing you with your
year-end statements in the proper format to coincide with Schedule D.
This simple step can dramatically reduce the time I have to spend on
your tax return, saving you a lot of money in fees.

Download Tax Organizer - Complete the sections of my tax
organizer that are pertinent to your tax return, it is not necessary to
complete the sections for which you are providing IRS documents. I need
copies of all W-2s, Form(s) 1099, 1099R, 1099-MISC, 1098, 1098G, 8332,
Schedules K-1, etc. that you have
received. I will also need a copy of your prior year tax return
ahead of any appointment. Also, I
will review the prior three years of your returns free of charge to check
for missed deductions, mistakes, or tax planning opportunities. Tax
returns can be amended for the prior three years. I have extensive tax
return reviewing and tax planning experience. I also have experience
handling IRS audits, and I will assess your return for audit risk. File
your return with confidence and pay the the least amount of tax allowed
by law. I have reviewed thousands of high net worth tax returns and
there are many loopholes to legally reduce your tax liability. If you
are under the AMT or have children in college, I can show you how to utilize
deductions or credits that you may ordinarily lose.
